What Thomas Tuchel did before his first Chelsea game
Before Thomas Tuchel took over his first Chelsea game as manager, he led a training session in Cobham 24 hours earlier.
And blues fans noticed something interesting from the training session.
The German was spotted engaging in an intense conversation with young Tino Anjorin, which led some Reddit supporters to predict the teen will be getting minutes for the first team in the near future.
EcoSoco said: “Tuchel has a solid history of promoting youth players from Mainz to PSG. He will do the same here if given the time.”

Ogyuna26 said: “Tuchel is talking to Anjorin today, nice to see that early.”
computer_love91 Said, “Hopefully I read on Reddit recently that Tuchel was also interviewed a few years ago when we hired Conte, and apparently he impressed the board with his knowledge of some of the academy players who deal with his streak with the youth at his Predecessors connected. ” Clubs give me hope that he will continue to use the academy boys. “
Player ratings against wolves
There was no Anjorin in the Chelsea squad against the Wolves and there were no goals or three points that Tuchel could celebrate in his first responsible game.
Despite dominating possession, the Blues couldn’t find a way past a determined defense of the Wolves as a goalless draw means they’re now three home Premier League games without a win.
Still, there were some positive aspects – especially one goal.

Callum Hudson-Odoi scored high in the reviews while Hakim Ziyech, Thiago Silva and Mateo Kovacic received solid grades.
But how did the rest of the team fare?

Tuchel transcript
The new Blues head coach faced the media after the Wolves game, and the main topic of his press conference was his team’s performance.
“Yes, it was deserved for all the effort the guys put in. But I have to say I just went into the locker room and told everyone that there is no room for disappointment or doubt.
“I’m very happy with the performance, we had a good intensity and were very structured, we didn’t allow any dangerous counterattacks.

“So we were very well organized, we were brave, we had the courage to play as a team, good contributions from the bank, a very good attitude from the bank that didn’t materialize. A very good spirit.”
“I think the fans could have helped with half the chances for that crucial moment.
“Hard work but we’ve never lost intensity and I’m very happy that this was our starting point and very excited about where we’re going to end up.”
