Tuchel confirms Lukaku decision
Romelu Lukaku will “probably” make his second Chelsea debut on Sunday, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed.
Chelsea’s new number 9 transfer from Inter Milan became official last week after signing a five-year deal that will keep him at the club until 2026.
Tuchel is now ready to give his new star his second Chelsea Blue debut, as he confirmed in Friday’s live press conference.
“ We still have one training session ahead of us, but the week has been a heavy burden. He was in the group with the late starters so it’s been a week of overload so far, ”he said.
“ Today was a low intensity and tomorrow we will have an important session before the game. We hope that he will be on the field on Sunday and it looks likely. ”
