According to a report, this offseason the San Francisco 49ers actually have an interest in potentially trying to land Aaron Rodgers via a trade.
While the Green Bay Packers have come out saying they want Aaron Rodgers back next season, the San Francisco 49ers may not be ready to give up trying to land him and bring him back to the Bay Area.
According to a report, San Francisco has an interest in Rodgers taking on the offense against the inconsistent Jimmy Garoppolo. Of course, San Francisco is interested. That’s Rodgers we’re talking about. Does San Francisco dream of believing that this could actually happen?

San Francisco interested in trading with Aaron Rodgers comes as no surprise at all
When the Lions and Rams finalized their deal with Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff, Los Angeles also sent Detroit two picks for the first round. LA clearly believes it has what it takes to win the Super Bowl, so they had no problem getting the first-round players into the deal.
If San Francisco wants a chance at Rodgers landing, it would have to send Green Bay several picks for the first round. Remember, Green Bay made its top pick for quarterback Jordan Love in 2020. It is planned that he will be the signal caller of the future.
At the same time, Rodgers played at MVP level last season. He was downright sensational in the regular season, throwing 48 touchdowns and only five interceptions. After losing the NFC Championship Game to Tampa Bay, Rodgers’ comments made it seem like he was open to moving elsewhere.
However, Green Bay’s front office said there is no way they want to swap the future Hall of Famer.
Even so, the 49ers may not be ready to take a no for an answer and toss a boatload of picks at Green Bay to put Rodgers on their list. While it seems like a long way to go, you never know what could happen when a stunning offer is presented.
