Deshaun Watson’s trade rumors are heating up and speculation about the future landing site of Tua Tagovailoa.
There is no doubt that discussions have been ongoing on Deshaun Watson’s availability and trading within the NFL on a daily basis since early 2021.
However, according to multiple reports, those talks are finally beginning to escalate and the Deshaun Watson deal could be imminent.
The Houston Texans and Miami Dolphins are reportedly joining a deal that would send Deshaun Watson to Miami. The rest of the details are not yet known. Many wonder, however, what that would mean for Tua Tagovailoa, the current Dolphins quarterback and former first-round pick.
Broncos reportedly have an interest in Tua Tagovailoa, but other reports deny it
It is speculated that the former Alabama star could travel to Denver as the Broncos reportedly want to participate in the three-way deal. Tagovailoa, who just returned from injury in the Dolphins ‘loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars last Sunday, would likely take on the role of quarterback, overtaking both Teddy Bridgewater and Broncos’ former first-round pick Drew Lock.
Several Broncos insiders have refuted these rumors, stating that they are nothing more than internet conversations.
The Broncos are currently 3: 3, although they started the season 3-0. Their passing offensive is barely in the top half of the league as a whole, but in a division with two of the best passing offensive in the Chiefs and Chargers, that won’t be enough.
When they bring Tagovailoa into play, they hope that not only does he fit and do better in the Broncos system than the Dolphins system, but that he can motivate and help increase the offensive around him.
