Daryl Dike continues to enjoy his loan from Barnsley of Orlando City and now has several individual awards to hand out. The forward has received three awards including the Player of the Month award and the Goal of the Month award.
Dike was named Player of the Month by Barnsley and Football League World, a website about the English championship. Dike was rewarded after a string of accomplishments in March that saw him score four goals in six games and win the Barnsley Prize in a landslide and get 72% of the vote.
“I am honored to be voted Player of the Month for March,” Dike told the Barnsley website. “Honestly, it’s just a result of the great service and people around me!”

Earlier this week, Dike accepted Barnsley’s Goal of the Month award, voted on by the club’s fans. The winning goal was the only goal in a win against Birmingham City on March 6, when Dike sent the ball into the top right corner of the goal while shooting from the edge of the box. He won the award again by an overwhelming majority and received 75.8% of the vote.
