Brayton Wilson: Buffalo Sabers trainer Ralph Krueger said Sam Reinhart will be traveling with the team on their road trip. He has an upper body injury. They hope he can play tonight.
Michael Smith: Carolina Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour on goalkeeper Petr Mrazek’s torso injury: “Looks like it will take a little longer than we’d hoped.” It is possible that Mrazek will need an operation.
Adrian Dater: Devon Toews, defender of the Colorado Avalanche, is out seven to ten days.
Brian Hedger: Columbus Blue Jackets striker Patrik Laine suffers from an upper body injury every day. If he’s cleared, he could play tonight.
