Klay Thompson and Draymond Green dumped Rodney McGruder sub Rodney McGruder on rarely used Pistons on live television.
It all started when Golden State’s Juan Toscano-Anderson said something to Detroit’s Wayne Ellington, which McGruder insulted.
After the Warriors’ 118: 91 victory over the Pistons on Saturday, the words were exchanged.
But then it got really hot.

Thompson, out of the season with an Achilles injury, called the game on the Warriors’ NBC Sports Bay Area broadcast and had this to say when asked what was going on on the ground.

“This guy could be out of the league soon, he’s probably crazy about it, who knows?” Thompson said as the rest of the broadcast team laughed. “Over here to start something like he’s a good player or something.”
Draymond Green wasted no time adding fuel to the fire in his post-game press conference.

“When the hell did Rodney McGruder become the tough guy on the team?” Said Green. “If you really wanted to do something, you could have done it. Go there and talk shit like he’s the tough guy on the team. Get out of here now. “
Ellington then shot back with his own thoughts.
“First of all, I find it very unprofessional and definitely not classy for someone to attack Rodney’s career … he’s one of the hardest working, humble, down-to-earth guys we have in this league.
“To get Draymond to sit up and do all this crazy stuff behind the mic, I think that’s the hard, wrong, hard stuff.”
The Warriors and Pistons will no longer play against each other this season as they have already met twice. Therefore, all additional barbs must first be traded on Twitter.
