While the Indiana Pacers are waiting for Caris LeVert to be ready to make his team debut, Jeremy Lamb has returned from injury and has played great. After an ACL tear, Lamb looked better than ever in his first few games for Indiana.
In his first five games of the season, Lamb averaged 14.0 points per game while shooting from depth .364. The timing of his return couldn’t be more perfect as Victor Oladipo was sold to the Houston Rockets at the time Lamb made his debut. While the Pacers wait for LeVert to recover from recent surgery to treat renal cell carcinoma in his left kidney, Lamb will be an excellent stopgap measure when it comes to hitting the ball.
Lamb recently started the season and showed how impressive he was on that Pacers roster. He has already played two games with more than 20 points this season and was instrumental in helping Indiana win three of its last four games.
