Jimmy Butler has had a great season on a limited scale following his trip to the 2020 NBA Finals. Despite missing out on a few games, Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra told Associated Press Tim Reynolds that Butler’s will to win is something that statistics cannot articulate.
“You just can’t analyze Jimmy’s will to win with modern analysis. He wouldn’t let us lose no matter what it took. “
Butler hadn’t played since January 9 due to a COVID-19 case and is working his way back to full health and fitness. While this was only his seventh game of the season, it may have been his best yet.
Butler scored 30 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds in 30 minutes against the Sacramento Kings on Saturday. Jimmy Butler has something to do with his influence on the game. Even outside of the box rating, he is a winner and an excellent motivator on the pitch.
