Chelsea are under new management following the sacking of Frank Lampard earlier this week. The man turned to Thomas Tuchel.
The former Paris Saint-Germain squad inherits an expensive but talented squad where his job is to get the most out of summer recruits who cost over £ 200m between them.
With little time left in the January transfer window, Tuchel is unlikely to close incoming deals before the mid-season ends.
That could change in the summer, however, and the rumors suggest the German already has some additions in his sights.

Tuchel’s number one goal
Thomas Tuchel identified Borussia Dortmund’s striker Erling Haaland as his most important transfer target this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
After his breakthrough at Red Bull Salzburg, the 22-year-old has become one of the most sought-after stars in world football and is continuing his immense upward curve in Germany.
Connected to the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid, Tuchel is desperate to raid his former club in order to win the Norwegian international.

Baba Rahman exit
According to the Daily Mail, it has been reported that forgotten Chelsea man Baba Rahman is hired for another loan spell off Stamford Bridge.
The 26-year-old has agreed to join the Greek POAK team by the end of the season – his third loan in three seasons, having previously spent time at Schalke, Stade Reims and RCD Mallorca.
Rahman signed for the club in 2015 but made no impact in west London and has been an outcast in recent years.

Roma eye Giroud
Serie A Roma have their eye on a move for Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud as Edin Dzeko leaves the Italian capital.
Dzeko, 34, is ready to leave after an argument with manager Paulo Fonseca and Roma missed their attempts to sign Mariano Diaz from Real Madrid.
Giroud, who still has six months under contract with Chelsea, is now a target for Roma but it is unclear what Thomas Tuchel has planned for the veteran French striker.
