Arsenal appear to be looking for European spots again after a recent resurgence.
The Gunners are now in eighth place and within five points of the top four despite Liverpool, who are four points ahead of the Gunners, have a game in hand.
And there is plenty to look forward to for Gunners fans after the club announced today that they have signed Real Madrid star Martin Odegaard’s loan deal. The Norwegian joins until the end of the season to fill the creative void in Mikel Arteta’s midfield.
But what other stores could Arsenal see before the end of the transfer window, which is now just days away?
We’ll walk you through the latest Gunners transfer talks.

Arsenal associated with Garcia
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Manchester City defender Eric Garcia.
Barcelona were the favorites for the Spaniard, whose contract expires at the end of this season. However, a financial crisis at Camp Nou means they seem unable to close the deal.
Mundo Deportivo now report that Arsenal have entered the race with Arteta who is keen on Garcia and the possibility of landing him on a free transfer.
The Gunners are not alone with Mauricio Pochettino and PSG are also said to be lurking.
Gunners have to do without left-backs
The Gunners could miss the reported left-back goal Jordan Amavi.
Amavi was identified as a possible Arsenal target with Arteta in the left-back market to challenge Kieran Tierney.
Canal + said both Arsenal and Crystal Palace will miss a move as Premier League rivals Leeds United are reported to close a deal.

Leeds had no plans to sign this month, but Marseille were keen to earn a fee for Amavi, who is out of contract at the end of the season. The Yorkshire club reportedly agreed to bite the ball in the correct order and sign him this month.

PSG offers tempting swap deals
Arsenal could be offered a tempting swap deal this summer.

It could have been different for the 21-year-old, and that’s because PSG were reportedly also interested in using his services before moving to Germany.
And, according to L’Equipe, despite Thomas Tuchel’s swap for Pochettino, they’re still interested and so much so that they might be ready to offer German star Julian Draxler in an exchange deal to sign Guendouzi this summer.
That could tempt the Gunners, especially since Arteta will be looking for a creative midfielder again this summer when Odegaard’s loan deal ends.
