Aaron Rodger’s former teammate claims he is seeking revenge

Aaron Rodgers has been an icon for the Green Bay Packers since replacing Brett Favre, but he has yet to win a second Super Bowl ring.

Once again, the Green Bay Packers were sent home on the doorstep of the Super Bowl. This year, it was an inexplicable decision by head coach Matt LaFleur who hit the pack – as opposed to a botched onside kick recovery, for example – when he decided to score a field goal and get the ball out of the hands of his star Take quarterback and give the ball back to Tom Brady to seal the win.

Aaron Rodgers was briefly transferred from the Packers organization for years. Although they made serious efforts to retool the defense by designing large defenders and contracting a few edge defenders, Rodgers’ support on the offensive was precariously thin. He was forced to rely on superstar receiver Davante Adams and run back to Aaron Jones as the rest of the depth map is simply inadequate.

The Packers’ persistent failure to provide Rodgers with sufficient talent on the offensive has apparently “brought revenge” to the quarterback, according to former teammate TJ Lang in an interview with WXYT’s “The Ticket”.

Lang was the pack’s offensive guard from 2009 to 2016. He won a Super Bowl with Rodgers and retired from Green Bay as a Pro Bowler. He says Rodgers wanted the Packers to go all-in with his sideline last off-season, but they drafted another first-round quarterback, Jordan Love, instead.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers have no reason to break up

And Lang believes Rodgers is “quietly pissed off” about this and will aim to get the largest payday possible from the organization for this reason.

Lang said, “I think he’ll make her pay, man. I think he’ll want a new deal and they’ll guarantee him a few more years in Green Bay just to be on the safe side. I don’t think he wants to go anywhere, but I think he will put her feet to the fire and say, “Hey, if you want to keep me close, A. You will pay me and B. You will involve some players I want to play with where we can make that next jump. “

Rodgers still managed to have an MVP season despite having to rely on Adams, who was the only big recipient on the team with 33+ receptions. There has been speculation that the caller might exit this off-season after another frustrating end to the campaign and drama from the previous off-season, but General Manager Brian Gutekunst has made it clear that he has no plans to trade with Rodgers. Nor should he.

Unless the Packers win a second Super Bowl ring with Rodgers at the helm and bizarrely choose not to add a qualified broad receiver depth, the rumble of unrest will persist. But Rodgers never threatened to leave Green Bay, so there’s no reason to believe that a shocking split will happen. However, few predicted that Tom Brady would leave the New England Patriots if he did, and he won six Super Bowl rings with the organization before reaching another in his freshman year without them.
